Attire
Late August in Maine is arguably the best time to visit the state.
Weather tends to be more predictable in the later part of the summer,
with warm, clear days giving way to comfortable, cool nights. Warm
clothing is important - although the weather is normally mild, sea
breezes are common and can be cool. Consider bringing a jacket, fleece
and hat.
Business casual is appropriate for all business and social events.
The final evening at Point Lookout will be relaxed and casual, so be
sure to wear low shoes and comfortable clothes. A light jacket or a
sweater is appropriate for all evening functions.
