Welcome
Extraordinary times call for extraordinary endeavors.  As the cash-strapped states are coping with the most severe budget deficits since World War II, state treasurers and program administrators must judiciously consider the best practices for protecting the public resources while continuing to provide services to benefit the citizens.  Where challenges exist, opportunities for innovative solutions flourish.  This conference will provide a forum for the states’ financial leaders to discuss the policy issues that impact unclaimed property programs, as well as other treasury issues related to fiscal responsibility.

Registration Information
Join the nation’s state treasurers, treasury staff and program administrators as they consider the emerging trends and critical issues facing state government.  The NAST and NAUPA Annual Conference is the premier conference for the states’ key decision-makers to come together with leaders from the nation’s financial institutions to exchange ideas and explore strategies for enhancing the treasury functions.

Colorado Springs
When it comes to magnificent scenery and natural beauty, Colorado has it all!  The natural beauty of Colorado is accessible from Colorado Springs to Manitou Springs - home of ancient cliff dwellings, the Royal Gorge - with the highest suspension bridge in the world, and the cog railway to the top of Pike’s Peak.  The view from the summit inspired Katherine Lee Bates to write “America the Beautiful.”  Colorado Springs is home to six military bases, including the Air Force Academy and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) at Cheyenne Mountain.

Don’t miss these:

  • Compelling plenary sessions with nationally recognized speakers
  • An excellent series of educational sessions focusing on management and fiscal policy issues
  • Unsurpassed networking opportunities with your colleagues
  • Not-to-be-missed Colorado-hosted events each evening to entice you
